Injected Buoyance Foam

EduFoam have different foam systems available to suit specific buoyancy applications, the correct systems can be specified on discussion with one of our advisers. Buoyancy foams are generally pour-in-place foams which can be injected  into vessels or other projects either on site or during manufacturing.
Applications These EduFoam systems have been formulated to have a good flowability, manageable viscosity and excellent adhesion, making it ideal for buoyancy work on any of the following:
  • Plastic pontoons
  • Metal pontoons
  • Flotation aids
  • Boat hulls
  • Punctured pontoons or flotation aids
Application Techniques These foam systems have been designed as specific aids for buoyancy and are generally poured or injected into place, they have slower reaction times to allow them to fill voids and provide buoyancy while preventing water ingress and pooling.
